Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has thanked the actor couple of Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh and actor Amir Khan for contributing Rs.25 lakh towards Chief Minister Relief Fund for Maharashtra floods.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed gratitude to Bollywood couple Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh for contributing Rs 25 lakh to the CM Relief Fund for Maharashtra through twitter and tweeted “Thank you Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh for the contribution of Rs 25,00,000/- (Rs 25 lakh) towards CM Relief Fund for Maharashtra floods”.
The CM also thanked Aamir in a tweet. He also noted the contribution made by the singer Lata Mangeshkar. The nightingale has donated Rs 11 lakh for the cause.

In a second tweet, he added, “We are also thankful to Respected Lata Didi for the contribution of ₹11,00,000/- (₹11 lakh) towards #CMReliefFund #MaharashtraFloods”, tweeted Devendra Fadnavis.
“The death toll due to floods and heavy rainfall in Pune division has reached 40 while three people are missing. At least 4,41,835 people have been evacuated to 524 temporary shelters in Pune, Sangli, Kolhapur, Satara and Solapur districts. It said 104 teams of different agencies along with 182 boats are in operation in Sangli and Kolhapur districts”, a statement from the Divisional Commissioner’s office read.
