Salman Khan starrer Bharat movie collects a box office collection of Rs 42.30 crore on the Day 1. Bharat opened with a record-breaking collection at the box office and becomes highest opening day collection ever for Salman Khan. Bharat is Salman’s highest opener after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which released in 2015.
Every year, Salman Khan’s has something to offer to his fans on the ocassion of Eid. The film was released on 4,700 screens in India along with 30 other countries.
Among the Bhaijan offerings for the past few years on Eid, Sultan opened at a huge number of Rs 36 crore at the box office back in 2016. In 2017, he came out with Tubelight which was not accepted by his fans as rest of his films, whereas Race 3 managed to cross Rs 300 crore at the box office.

“It may get affected slightly due to India vs South Africa World Cup match, but still numbers will be big”, talking about the box office performance of Bharat, distributor Rajesh Thadani said.
