Iran will proudly bypass illegal US sanctions: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani
On November 5, US sanctions against Iran came into full force. The Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in a televised speech that Iran is in situation of economic war with the United States and will proudly bypass illegal US sections proudly. Rouhani also accused Donald Trump of violating international laws.
Rouhani said, “I announce that we will proudly bypass your illegal, unjust sanctions because it’s against international regulations”.
He said, “We are in a situation of economic war, confronting a bullying power. I don’t think that in the history of America, someone has entered the White House who is so against law and international conventions”.

Rouhani said that US is sending the message of negotiations but they must respected the already concluded negotiations and urged US to act on commitments.
He said, “Constantly they are sending us messages saying ‘Let’s sit and negotiate.’ Negotiations for what?’ First, you respect the negotiations we already concluded, so that there are grounds for the next negotiations”.
He added, “There is no need for mediation. There is no need for all these messages. Act on your commitments, and we will sit and talk”.
Rouhani said that not only the Iranian government but European governments and companies are also angry with US’ bullying behaviour and from its policies.
He said, “Today, it’s not just us who are angry with America’s policies. Even European companies and governments are angry with America’s policies”.
The US President Donald Trump pulled out of Iran nuclear deal on May 8, 2018 and announced to re-impose US sanctions on Iran. The first phase of sanctions was implemented on August 6 and the second phase sanctions came in full force from November 5. Second phase sanctions bars Central Bank of Iran from accessing the US financial system for international payments in Dollar.
