The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 admit cards against their official website. In order to clear the CTET examination, the candidates need to score minimum 60 per cent.
“Around 8,17,892 candidates have registered for appearing in CTET paper 1. 4,27,897 candidates have been registered for paper II. 8,38,381 candidates have registered for both the papers. More than 16 lakh candidates had appeared for the CTET held in December 2018”, said the official statement.
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is scheduled to be held on July 7. The CTET exam, will be held in 104 cities and 2,942 centres across the country.
The examination will consist of two paper i.e Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Paper 1 is for primary teachers and CTET paper 2 is for Upper Primary teachers.
Paper 1 will be of two hours’ duration and which will have 150 multiple-choice questions, which will contaim 5 sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Each section will have 30 questions carrying 30 marks.
On the other hand, paper 2 will be of two hours’ duration and which will contain 150 multiple-choice questions which will consist of 5 sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Science. The first three sections will have 30 questions each and the last two sections will have 60 questions each. Each question will have 1 mark each.
The candidates will be able to download the CTET admit card by entering their application number and date of birth on the official website.
CBSE Releases CTET Admit Card 2019 : Follow the steps to download the result
1.) Log on to the official website–ctet.nic.in.
2.) Click on ‘download admit card (Server1 /Server 2).
3.) Enter your credentials.
4.) Click on submit button.
5.) The result will be displayed on screen. Download the admit card.
