IBPS declares final provisional allotment list for Clerk, SO, PO

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the IBPS PO / MT 5 Provisional Allotment List 2016 officially. IBPS conducts various exams throughout the year which included exams for the clerks, Probationary Officers (PO), Specialist officer and Regional Rural Banks. The candidates must first qualify for the written examination then required to appear for the interview round.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released list of provisionally selected candidates through Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Clerk, Probationary Officers/ Management Trainee (PO/MT-VII) and Specialist Officers (SPL-VII) recruitment. The allotment is done by keeping in mind the vacancies in the participating banks as well as the merit and preference of the candidate.

The main examination for clerks was held on December 31, 2016 and January 1, 2017. IBPS had on August 12, 2016 issued the notification to fill up 19,243 clerical posts in participating banks.

The online main exam for PO was held in November and interviews were held in January/February 2017. There are approximately 8,822 vacancies for probationary officers/ management trainees.

The online examination for selection of Specialist Officers was held in January, 2017. Candidates who cleared the written examination were called for a Common Interview conducted by the participating organisations and co-ordinated by the Nodal Bank.

The examination has been held to fill 335 vacancies for IT Officer (Scale-I), 2,580 vacancies for Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I), 65 vacancies for Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I), 115 vacancies for Law Officer (Scale I), 81 vacancies for HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) and 946 vacancies for Marketing Officer (Scale I). The total number of vacancies announced for specialist officers was 4,122.

In the event of two or more candidates having obtained the same score, merit order is decided as per date of birth (the candidate senior in age is placed before/ above the candidate junior in age), as per the prevailing practice. Candidates must please note that the provisional allotment is subject to the candidate fulfilling the criteria for Participating Organisation and identity verification to the satisfaction of the allotted organisation. This does not constitute an offer of employment.
