Iran warns terrorist attack plotters to not cross its ‘Red lines’

On Friday, September 28, deputy head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Hossein Salami warned regional and international foes whom it blamed for terrorist attack plot on military parade to not cross the Iran’s Red lines and if they do so, then shall get ready to face the retaliation.

On September 22, a military parade was attacked by several gunmen in which 25 people were killed, and nearly 60 people were injured, out of which  12 were Iranian Revolutionary Guard were also killed. Iran blamed Saudi Arabia and UAE for giving training and funding five gunmen who attacked military parade.

As quoted by Fars News Agency, Brigadier General Salami said, “If you cross our red lines, we will surely cross yours. You know the storm the Iranian nation can create”.

Addressing the worshipers attending Friday prayers, Salami said, “Stop creating the plot and tensions. You are not invincible. You are sitting in a glass house and cannot tolerate the revenge of the Iranian nation… We have shown self-restraint”.

On Sunday, Iranian Revolutionary Guards vowed for deadly and unforgettable response for Sturday’s military attack.

Iranian leadership accused US and Israel for the attack. Iran’s Foreign Minister said, “Iran holds regional terror sponsors and their US masters accountable”. Iran claimed that the terrorists were trained and funded by two gulf countries and had ties with US and Israel.

Iranian President vowed for harsh response, he said in a statement, “The response of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the smallest threat will be harsh, but those who sponsor the terrorists must be held accountable”.

Salami also told the US to stop supporting the terrorists or they will have to pay the price.

Tensions are rising between Washington and Tehran after President Donald Trump scrapped the Iran Nuclear deal and reimposed the sanctions on Iran.
