“I have recovered well and feeling fine” confirms Rishi Kapoor, plans to come back to India

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is suffering from Cancer, he left all his fans surprised when he confirmed the news. The actor tweeted about flying down to USA for some medical treatment.

Ranbir Kapoor’s father – Rishi Kapoor is in the US to receive treatment for cancer now, but he seems to back fit as the actor just confirmed the good news, that he will be returning to India by August end.

“Yes, I am trying to return by August end, depending on what the doctors at the hospital say. I have recovered well and I am feeling good. Must be 100% fit by the time I am back”, said Rishi Kapoor.

During this hard time, wife Neetu Kapoor has been very supportive. She has been sharing the images to Instagram. One of the image captioned: “He gave the tightestttt Hug and the longesttt kiss n said half of this love is from his mom Hiroo sometimes simple words mean so big…  love love him #karanjohar#fulloflove#lotsoffun.”

“Neetu has stood by me like a rock. Otherwise I am too difficult a person to handle as far as food and drink are concerned. My kids Ranbir and Ridhima have really shouldered my problems”, the actor said

The actor was declared cancer free in May after eight months of treatment in New York City. He shared an emotional note via twitter and tweeted “Today I complete eight months here in New York. When will l ever get home?”

Many bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Aamir Khan, Sonali Bendre, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Vicky Kaushal also visited Rishi Kapoor when they come to New York. Ranbir Kapoor and his alleged lover Alia Bhatt were also seen flying to New York frequently to visit the actor.

“Whenever I speak to him (Rishi), he only talks about movies. He only talks about ‘how is this film?’, ‘how is this film doing?’, ‘how is this performance?’, what are you doing in this scene? And more so, he speaks to me about his insecurities that when he gets back, will he get to work in movies? Whether people will offer him films? Will he be able to act in movies?” Ranbir said.
