India Post has released the recruitment notification for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) as Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. There are a total of 1735 vacancies are available in Delhi Postal Circle, Himachal Pradesh Postal Circle and Jharkhand Postal Circle.

India Post Recruitment 2019 : Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification :
Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.
The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard [as compulsory or elective subjects] as declared by the State Government or as per constitutional provisions relating to the 8th schedule of Constitution of India.
Age Limit :
The age limit is capped from 18 to 40 Years
Selection Procedure :
The candidates will be selected on the basis of automatic generated merit list.
India Post Recruitment 2019 : How to Apply
1.) The candidates are required to register in the Registration module once per cycle and obtain a unique registration number.
2.) Then make a fee payment(UR/OBC/EWS Male). You can pay through any Head Post Office Fee Payment Office.
3.) The candidate has to apply using registration number submit all the required documents such as canned copies in prescribed format and size of Photo, Signature, SSC marks memo.
Also, DOB certificate if DOB not on SSC marks memo, additional SSC marks memos if any, Community(SC/ST/OBC/EWS) certificate if applicable, computer certificate, PH certificate if applicable for hassle-free applying.
