Indian Forest Service ( IFS) recruitment 2019 : Check Latest Details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination 2019. According to the official notification, it is important for the aspirants to note that if they wish to apply for the Indian Forest Service examination, then it is essential for the aspirants to appear for the Civil Services (IAS) preliminary exam and qualify the same in order to reach the second level of the Indian Forest Service (Main) examination (Written and Interview). The desiring candidates can apply for the Indian Forest Service examination through a common online application form of Civil Services Examination (CSE)

Important Dates: IFS Recruitment 2019

Date for the online registration process : February 19, 2019

Date for the end of Online Registration Process : March 18, 2019

Date of IFS Preliminary Exam 2019 : June 2, 2019

Date for IFS Main exam 2019: December 01, 2019

Educational Qualification: IFS recruitment 2019

Candidate should hold a degree from any of the recognised universities or must have an equivalent qualification.

Indian Forest Service exam notification 2019 :

PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION: This exam will have two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each.

MAIN EXAMINATION :

Part- I : Paper I—General English (300 Marks)

Paper II—General Knowledge (300 Marks)

Papers III, IV, V and VI.—Any two subjects to be selected from the list of the optional subjects released by the commission. Each subject will have two papers.— 200 marks for each paper.

Part- II : Interview for Personality Test (300 Marks)

Age Limits :

Minimum age 21 years. Maximum age 30 years as on 1st of August in the year of examination.

UPSC IFS 2019 Application Form :

To attempt IFS exam 2019, it is mandatory to fill up the application form. The candidates can take the help of online mode only. To fill up the application form, kindly follow the steps:

1.) Open the official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsconline.nic.in

2.) Then select and download the application form for the IFS exam.

3.) Fill up all the options carefully as well as accurately.

4.) Make sure to pay the application fee, otherwise requested application will not consider valid.
