ITBP Medical Officer Recruitment 2019 for 496 posts : Apply Online
Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has issued notification to recruit 496 medical officers in Central Armed Police Forces (ITBP, BSF, CRPF, SSB and Assam Rifles). The application process will be completely online and candidates will be required to pay application fee through online mode only.

ITBP Medical Officer Recruitment 2019 : Eligibility Criteria
Specialist Medical Officer (SMO in Deputy Commandant) – Candidates should have Degree in Allopathic System from any recognized university in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule other than licentiate qualification included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub Section 3 of section 13 of IMC Act 1956. They should have PG degree/Diploma in related specialist as per IMA.
Medical Officer (MO in Assistant Commandant)- Candidates should have recognized Medical qualification of allopathic systems of Medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub Section 3 of section 13 of IMC Act 1956. PG degree/Diploma in related specialist as per IMA. The candidates must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI before appointment in any of the CAPFs and completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Super Specialist Medical Officer – Candidates should have Graduate in Medicine (M.B.B.S) Or Equivalent for a Recognized University in the first Schedule to the Medical Council Act.
ITBP Medical Officer Recruitment 2019 : Age Limit
The age of the aspirant for SSMO posts is capped at 50 years. For SMO and MO the upper age limit is 40 and 30 years respectively. Further, age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.
