Urban Naxals have disrupted peace in Chhattisgarh: PM Modi
On Friday, November 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked on ‘Urban Naxals’ saying that Urban Maoists live luxurious life style and the extremists in Bihar and Chhattisgarh just work on the instructions of these people.
PM Modi said, “Urban Maoists live in air conditioned house, roam in fancy cars, their kids study abroad and here try to disrupt peace in Chhattisgarh. Can we forgive these Urban Maoists”.
Modi also accused Congress for supporting the Urban Naxals and for not developing the Naxal affected area in region of Chhattisgarh and Bihar. He said, “I have visited Bastar more than all the previous Prime Ministers combined and I do that to oversee all the development that we have undertaken in the state”.

PM said that he will not stop until the dream of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpai is not fulfilled, he said, “I want to complete Atal ji’s dream of development in Bastar and I will not stop until that dream has been fulfilled”.
PM Modi also criticized Congress party for insulting adivasi culture and for making fun of adivasi’s. he cited the example when he wore an adivasi headgear during a rally in northeast last year and Congress made fun of it.
PM Modi said, “I don’t know why Congress makes fun of adivasis. Once I had gone for a rally to the Northeast of our country and there had worn a traditional adivasi headgear but Congress leaders made fun of that hat, it was an insult of adivasi culture”.
There are assembly elections in Chhattisgarh next week in two phases on November 10 and November 12. BJP is highlighting its development work in election campaign and promising for more development of Naxal affected area.
