Google Doodle helps kick off 2019 Women’s World Cup

Today, the official opening of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup starts for which Google marked the day with an amazing doodle. Google is celebrating the eighth edition of the tournament, with the first in 1991.

Google is embracing the doodle with a cartoon of women wearing different football jerseys and playing the game.In a blog post, Google said it’ll also feature soccer-themed doodles by artists from the countries participating in the World Cup.

When the users will click on the doodle, Google will redirects the users them to a fresh page, which will have a full fledged list of the  match schedule of the eventful 30 days.

Google has taken up the task to responsibly promote the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 across its platforms. Google had mentioned that football fans across the world will be able to use Assistant and the search app to follow real-time match updates.

The users who have got an android phones will be able to follow up to three real-time scores on your home screen. Google News FIFA Women’s World Cup interactive tracker further enables to browse highlights.

While the Google search app will let you subscribe to team updates, Assistant can answer specific questions. Along with this, the YouTube will show the highlights as well as behind-the-scenes moments.

Google Doodles are temporary iterations created by the search engine giant. They usually get displayed on its homepage to prestige the historic occasions and holidays. This year, the FIFA Women’s World Cup will kickstart with a match between France and South Korea.
