Politics of vote bank has destroyed the country like termites: PM Modi
On Tuesday, September 25, 2018 Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged opposition parties for doing the vote bank politics that has destroyed the country like termites. PM Modi also attacked the Congress and opposition parties on the issue of instant triple talaq, while Prime Minister was addressing BJP workers at BJP’s ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ in poll bound Madhya Pradesh.
BJP has ruled Madhya Pradesh for three terms continuously and got almost all seats of Member of Parliaments of the state into its account.

Modi said, “They are doing it just for the sake of saving their chair even at the cost of damaging the social fabric. But we believe in sabka saath, sabka vikas”.
While talking on the issue of instant triple talaq, Modi hinted at Congress part and said, “Even the party with a woman at the helm is not concerned about our Muslim sisters. This is the deformed face of vote bank politics”.
BJP promised to eliminate the practice of triple talaq during election campaign in Uttar Pradesh and later brought an ordinance on triple talaq that was opposed by Congress. Earlier on the issue of triple talaq, Congress alleged that for BJP triple talaq is “more as political football than a matter of justice to Muslim Women”.
Modi asked BJP workers to protect the country from the vote bank politics and consider it their responsibility. He said, “It is the responsibility of BJP workers to protect the country from vote bank politics which has destroyed the country in the past 70 years”.
To ensure the victory of BJP in elections in the poll bound Madhya Pradesh he also emphasized that BJP workers must follow the mantra of ‘Mera Booth, Sabse Majboot’. In Madhya Pradesh, Assembly elections will be held before the end of the year.
