JoSAA 2019 Counselling Schedule Released : Step by Step Registration Process

Joint Seat Allocation Authority is conducting the counselling of JoSAA 2019. The registration process has been started & successful candidates in JEE Main and JEE Advanced can now apply online for the registration process.

Therefore, the candidates who have appeared in JEE (Main) 2019 are eligible to register for seat allocation in NIT whereae the ones who have qualified for JEE Advanced are eligible for seat allocation in all participating institutes including IITs.

JoSAA has been set up by MHRD i.e Ministry of Human Resources Development and managing the joint seat allocation for admissions to 107 institutes for the academic year 2019-20. This contains 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs & 28 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes.

JoSAA 2019 Counselling : Follow the steps to register yourself

Register Yourself :

1.) Visit

2.) Enter all your necessary details i.e. application number, password, pin.

3.) If you have already registered for JEE ( Advanced) 2019, use JEE(Advanced) 2019 password. Otherwise use JEE (Main) 2019 password.

4.) Click on login

5.) Enter all your details and fill preferences of your colleges.

Mock Seat Allotment – JoSAA will publish 2 mock seat allotment lists as per the choices filled by the students.

Seat Allotment rounds –  There will be six rounds of seat allotment. The students will be issued seat allotment letter and e-challan for seat acceptance. In order to confirm a seat, students need to visit the allotted reporting centres.

Document verification & Admission Fee Payment – Finally, the students will be required to visit the reporting centres and get their documents verified and pay the admission fee.
