There must be hardly any Indian who doesn’t feel proud of our Armed forces, jawans: PM Modi

On Sunday, September 30, Prime Minister Modi hailed the success of surgical strike carried out in 2016 by Indian Armed Forces and praised the valour of soldiers for their supreme sacrifice to protect the peace, during his ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme.

PM Modi said, “There must be hardly any Indian who doesn’t feel proud of our Armed Forces, our army jawans, our soldiers. Every Indian, irrespective of region, caste, religion, sect or language, is ever eager to express joy and show solidarity with our soldiers”.

He said, “Yesterday, one hundred and twenty-five crore Indians celebrated the ParaakramParva, the festival of Valour. We remembered that surgical strike carried out in 2016, where our soldiers gave a befitting reply to the audacity of a proxy war under the garb of terrorism”.

PM Modi mentioned about the celebrations of ‘Praakram Parva’ on 2nd anniversary of surgical strike by Indian Armed Forces on terrorist launch pads in Pakistani territory and said that the celebrations of festive of valour reminds our youth of the glorious heritage of our Army.

PM said, “Yesterday, one hundred and twenty-five crore Indians celebrated the ParaakramParva, the festival of Valour. We remembered that surgical strike carried out in 2016, where our soldiers gave a befitting reply to the audacity of a proxy war under the garb of terrorism”.

He added, “A day such as ParaakaramPrava reminds our youth of the glorious heritage of our Army. It also inspires us to maintain the unity & integrity of the country”.

In ‘Mann ki Baat’ PM Modi warned those who want to destroy the atmosthere of peace that our soldiers will give befitting reply if they do so, he said that India believes in peace and committed to take it forward.

He said, “It has now been decided that our soldiers will give a befitting reply to whosoever makes an attempt to destroy the atmosphere of peace and progress in our Nation. We staunchly believe in peace; we are committed to taking it forward… but NOT at the cost of compromising our self-respect and sovereignty of our Nation”.
